Community Meeting · Fort Worth

Based in Fort Worth and gathering across North Texas, Roots to Leadership offers free, practitioner-centered professional development for people working throughout the nonprofit sector. Our programming is grounded in the realities of the work—from funding and team culture to volunteer engagement, career growth, leadership practice, and the systems that shape mission-driven organizations.

Growth through Cultivation

Three rooms. One community.

Each program is a different door into the same work: helping nonprofit professionals learn from one another, strengthen their practice, and build the relationships that steady a career.

Why Roots

Professional development grounded in the work itself.

Nonprofit professionals are often expected to grow through experience alone. Roots to Leadership creates consistent infrastructure around that growth: practical learning, peer conversation, real relationships, and space to understand the business of the sector—not only the mission. We build depth over breadth and keep practitioners at the center of what comes next.
